Speech

This is an old photo of my great grandparents. They look kind of stern and gloomy, but they were really kind and loving people. Both of them were tiny people (wish I'd gotten some of that!).

If I were to title to this one, I might call it "Secret to a Long Marriage"!

(PS-- Cynthia, whose meme challenge I responded to in the previous post, is neither ignoring me nor MIA. She is working on passing a summer semester Algebra class. I wish her well and expect to hear from her once the class is completed. Also, David and Jules had challenges too, and I will write on those soon. Sorry about not making the links work. I am in a bit of a hurry this morning.)

  1. Oh my gosh! This is a great photo! I used to have one almost just like this hanging in my office. (Mine was cut out of a magainze, though. Yours is authentic!!!)

Hope things are going well. Your creativity survives, no matter what. The quote you used on this is just priceless! Love it!

  4. Rach I think it is a cool photo. It is only a small black and white, taken by someone in the family. Probably back before YOU were born!

Princess Mindy Thanks, glad you like the saying.

    Thank you Jules

  5. Hey, I don't think they look stern and gloomy at all. As a matter of fact, you can see a bit of a Mona Lisa smile on your g-grandmother's face -- hmmm -- maybe you would call it more the beginning of a smirk or giggle. They look sweet!

Don't just sit there staring, say something!
