I've been digging through old emails collecting quotes from a particularly wise friend. There are so many I could use! I am not sure I am totally satisfied with the way these look but I am happy to have created something with my hands again, using paint, chalks, glue and a charcoal pencil. I did them on playing cards (ATC size) and then scanned them in and did a few things to them in Photoshop. I printed them up at the 4x6 size and the colors look really good. I am thinking I wish I had made the font for the words a teensy bit smaller. But hey, at least I am doing something again!

Blah, Blah, Blah
I scanned buttercups earlier in the spring and now have combined them with an old letter I also scanned, and a photograph of an angel statue in a cemetery. It's all very small because I was just seeing what I could do. And right now I have no words to add to make them an official "thang".
I had the day off today and tomorrow it is back to the grindstone. I really wish I could get a few days to be home by myself and get a few things done around here. I never seem to be too committed to doing what I need to do on the weekends. Sigh.

Friday!!
I took this picture with my iPhone and then manipulated it in one of the photo apps I have. Unfortunately I don't remember which one I used and can't duplicate this affect!
I've been looking at all the improvements they have made to Blogger and I am excited about them. I may work this weekend on transforming my template. It is always kind of scary to make changes to the blog and I have not done anything on here in such a long while so we shall see what happens. If you happen to stop by and things look odd, please let me know in the comments or send me an email.
