Fantabulous News!

He did it!!

My son called yesterday to tell me he had passed all the subjects on his GED test! He said he was holding the certificate in his hand and had "finally accomplished something". I am so very glad for him. In a few more months, they will start working with him on other educational options. I think he is a little excited about those options. Have I said I am very grateful? I am.

(My apologies for neglecting my blog lately, and mostly for failing to acknowledge your comments. Things are still a bit intense at work, and I am also feeling a bit uninspired.)

Don't worry about neglecting the blog. We all have those times where you have lots to say but can't get inspired to write it down. We're still here.

  7. Good news! Way to go, son of Annie!

There is a leak in the water line to my house. I will find out on Friday how much that will cost and how much of my yard will have to be dug up. I don't need to say that there is no money after the air conditioning thing. I need prayer. (I don't want to put this on my own blog because my daughter reads it and she doesn't need to bear this for me.)

    Thanks.

  8. Thanks to all of you for the cheers. We visited Saturday night and he is so proud of himself! It is so good to hear him talk of his future with hope.

I've got a few things on my mind. Will (hopefully) be back sometime before too long with another post.

(Cynthia, I will be praying. I totally understand the desire not to let your daughter bear this burden for you. I am sure there are a few others here who can also understand that need.)
