The moon on Sunday night. The photos do not near do justice to the view I was seeing as I drove along I-10 heading home from Houston. But I tried, because I wanted to remember how everything felt so dark and almost hopeless, and then there was light, hanging right above my head, illuminating my path.
I noticed the moon on Sunday as well. Cool to think you were looking at it, too. Great shots, annie.

Thanks, Mich!
ReplyDeleteWe noticed the moon, way up north here. The moon has comforted me, more than once. Lovely photos. I will pray for progress.
ReplyDeleteI've driven along in the darkness along those expressways in years past and caught myself being mentally "taken up" into the void of all that was out there. Good to find hope in whatever form it comes. Great shots of the moon, Annie....
ReplyDeletehow the heck do you have such luck with up-close, non-blurry, still brought enough photographs of the moon ? i've changed my settings all around and can't find a way to capture anything so successful. your shots here are fab and just delightful !
ReplyDeletegarden harlot Don't know if you will check back here, but I believe these were just lucky shots! The moon was particularly bright that night. I did set up the tripod and used a slower shutter speed, but not THAT slow! In other words, I don't know if I could repeat these photos! They are also cropped in pretty close. I'm glad you like them, and thanks for stopping by and poking around!
ReplyDeletewell, a wonderful cut of a sky scene nonetheless !
