Feeling Blah

First of all, thanks for all your encouraging comments on my last post. I am doing better with the eating, not so much with the walking. But hopefully, I will soon start that too. I have been sick for a little over a week with some kind of hacking crud. I worked all week, but that is about all I did. I am feeling somewhat better now, but still sound like a squeaky-voiced something-or-other when I talk!

I keep thinking of things I want to write about and then not writing anything. I don't know what is up with me. Anyway, at the very least, I am still alive and hope to get caught up on my blog reading and commenting soon (again!).

  1. We all go through those periods of being unable to connect what we want to say. Good to just find you up here and still "in the game"....

  2. Oh, what in heavens name is wrong with blogger tonight....must be in shock because you posted!
That is a nasty little bug you contracted and hope you have a speedy recovery. I am still coughing from mine, but not as bad.
I started (finally) these Passing little thoughts down, so I could go back and further reflect on them.
I think it will help, although am sure I will have notes scattered all over the house. Causing yet another pile to tend to, but that's okay...will be a good pile!
Feel better soon, good to see you posting again!

  3. Hope you're feeling better!

The exercise will help with the blahs and the disconnect. Honest!

(I got your message this morning. Did you get mine?)

  4. get going.

Ok, quit sniffling and hacking, then get going.

    I love you.

  5. Yeah, Jim, I guess I just feel like the feeling has stayed with me too long.

Thanks Ayekah It sure feels good to be feeling better!

Spooky I believe you are right about the exercise. I seem to have some sort of aversion to it lately, though! I know that is terrible. I don't think I got your message, I think I got off before it came up.

Thanks, Cynthia I think I am about finished with the sniffling, but I am still hacking, darn it all!

  6. I do that, too, with the writing.

My trick is to make writing the BEST part of the day...a little music, a little wine (or beverage of your choice), writer clothes (yes, I know that is dorky), and a peptalk that I found my writing groove, baby (yes, I know that is even more dorky).

I buy myself new pens to further tempt me into the task. I cannot resist using a good pen.

Don't just sit there staring, say something!
