Facebook is okay, but I still like blogging better, when I have something to write about.
I started working in Photoshop on an old photo my sister gave me and I don't quite know yet what I am going to do with it. But I had a chance to look through the Somerset Apprentice magazine today and work and I am somewhat inspired so I imagine something will come of my efforts.
One of our students will not be returning to school after the Mardi Gras holiday. She died as a result of an accident on the parade route in one of the smaller towns around here. Such a tragic accident.
How awful for the family of that girl. So very tragic.

I agree with you - facebook is fun, but blogging is still better for writing.
ReplyDeleteYou know what I really miss, though? Pen and paper. I do all my writing on the computer because I type much faster than I write. But I really miss not working it out longhand with a new pen and some scritchy paper.
I'm sorry to hear about the accident with one of your student. Very tragic.
Oh, that is so sad. What a terrible thing.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Rach on the pen and paper thing. I still write everything out first. Can't trust myself on the computer. I lose my rhythm and flow or something. And I journal everyday, feeds the paper/pen monster in me.
I'll have to go check out Apprentice. Is that another new one? They keep coming out with all these new magazines for us to drop our dollars on!
Hey, when you scroll down on the link you can see the melting pot and the beeswax pellets. That's what I use. :) I might have to get this one it looks good.
