Open Air Chapel

These are photos of a small open air chapel I discovered a few weeks back. It's such a simple and rustic building.

I love the Gothic shaped arches!

I've never seen the name Jesus shaped into a cross like this. I was impressed by the typography. They have all different sorts of crosses hanging on the walls, almost as if different individuals brought them in and hung them there.

This verse was up in the rafters.

I really like how this one turned out. It is on one of the wind chimes hanging there.

My son needs prayers again. Those of you who have been reading this blog for a while will know the problem. We've had three years of relative peace and now a relapse, with some possible big repercussions. Right now we are kind of in a waiting position to see what needs to be done, and what CAN be done.

  1. Love these photos and the peaceful nature of this church. We are blanketed in snow today and I found these shots refreshing.

Praying for you and your family....

  4. Wow! Beautiful place, Annie. Is there a name for it or a location nearby that I might search out if I ever get down that way? Just got back from a trip to Pensacola and am catching up on my favorite blogs. Your prayer is with me in my own.....

Don't just sit there staring, say something!
