Changes!

I've changed things around! I don't know that I am totally satisfied with what I have done but I will sit with the way it is for now.

I'm still walking around with my drain pouch and my ear helmet and my gauze "scarf" wrapped around my neck. The pain is easing off a bit but I'm still not up to full speed. There are times when I think I could make a run to Michael's or to the bookstore but then I remember, I look sort of like Frankenstein's bride! I go back to the doctor on the 5th of March. Hopefully he will remove the drain tube and maybe take out the stitches and staples and let me get back to work! Back to my new theoretical normal!

Most of you may have already seen this but I thought I'd put it up here anyway. I keep thinking I heard someone say exactly this, and wondering if I should try to figure out who it was or where it was I heard it so I can give proper credit. But on the other hand, it is something that has been said for years in many different ways so it is a common sentiment.

I cleaned and reorganized my art room over the Mardi Gras holiday and I'm anxious to get in there and do some stuff but I don't know what I want to do!

  1. I like the colors. Change and renewal is good. I can't see the quote very well on the iPhone. I think it's something about the color/font/size. That could be something to look at.

  2. I like it. Feels warm.

I know the feeling of being desperate to create something - anything! - and having no idea what to do. I hate it, but it's better than no desire for creativity at all.

You're still making me laugh at your plight. :) I'd get a wheelchair and push you around Micheal's if you were here. I'd try and look concerned and you could drool just a little and we'd see what kind of trouble we could get into.

  3. Cyn, thanks! I can't quite decide if I really like the colors! I do see there is a problem when looking at it on the iPhone. The quote is done in a 6 pt font so it really messes it up when it gets squished down enough to fit the phone format! I may need to abridge the quote or use something else (or nothing at all).

  4. Rach, thanks! Yeah, we could have some fun at Michael's (or maybe even at WalMart) with me riding and you driving. My mother and my youngest daughter went to the dollar store together and when I told them I should have waddled on in there with them, my mother said they would have waddled away from me as fast as they could! It's pretty bad when your own mother doesn't want to be seen in public with you!

  5. Oh...did my comment post? It did a weird thing...

Feel free to erase this one if my other posted. I just said I loved the new look and it makes me want to blog again, too!
