It took me a moment, Annie, to see the bird in the middle picture. My first thoughts was why is she taking a picture of something covered up near the shore of that lake?..... By the way, the "sound of water rolling in" here in northern Kentucky brings the thought of "flood!"; but, with ten years in the Navy and more than a few vacations on the Gulf, I can well appreciate your fondness for being around the water.
Jim, I probably should have used a few words to explain! That's a rice field. The yellow tarp part is where the water flows from one field to another when they are flooding the fields.
Last one is my fav! Love it a lot!
