For a couple of years now I thought I might someday take up the NaNoWriMo challenge but I never quite had the confidence nor the trust in myself to churn out 50,000 words in 30 days that would look anything like a novel at all. (I never could quite come up with a plan, though from what I understand, some people start out with no plan. They just start writing and they don't quit till the end of November--and they end up with some semblance of a novel!)

Linda posted about another November challenge that I think just might be the thing to cure my recent case of blogging lethargy. It's called NaBloWriMo. All I really have to do is post something every day for the month of November. Sound like fun? We shall see. Anyone want to join me?

  1. hhhmm....I wonder if I could do this?

I would LOVE reading what ever you might have to write!

  2. Oh Annie! I'd love to see you write every day for a month. You go girl.

I'd do it but I pretty much write every day anyway so what's the point. LOL

  3. Don't you guys all think Annie should just jump in and do NaNoWriMo? I do! If not this year, then next...

  4. Mindy I KNOW you could do it! It would be fun. I have no idea what I am going to write about and I predict there will be a lot of silly fluff but it will be fun (at least that is what Linda says!)

Jules Yeah, it would not be much of a challenge for you! I admire your dedication (and your photography has been looking fantabulous lately!).

Linda I would like to try NaNoWriMo one of these years just to prove to myself I could do it. I've been waiting for a good story idea to pop into my head!

  5. Yes! yes, write every day! YAY!

  6. I'm joining you! Writing everyday, just for one month, I think I can do that.

  7. With the chaos that has been around my house for the last ten months, I'm lucky to post two or three times a week and reading all my favorites has become a hit and miss operation. Am catching up a bit on yours right now and love the quote a few posts back on "lists"....

  8. I found you again - I had lost you but now you are found!

  9. Captainwow, AKA Mother of the Boy I sincerely hope I can live up to the level of your enthusiasm!

Patti I'm glad you are joining in!

Jim I understand. I figured you'd like that little quote about lists. (I also posted a second comment to your recent post on your blog.)

Cathy I did not know I was lost!--But I am so glad I am now found! I've been reading your blog, but have been quiet.

I occasionally wondered if I had offended you in some way, but that explains it--I was lost! LOL

I will also add you to my blogrolling list, since I so recently got everything in order again on it.

Don't just sit there staring, say something!
